The KC Welder Pro features an 80 Watt flat-tip element with a 3/16 in. hole in tip for plastic repair rod insertion. Includes a selection of Hobie Polyethylene plastic color welding rods. This kit makes it easy to fix holes and cracks in polyethylene plastic kayak hulls. Directions: Insert a welding rod into the tip and place the end of the rod against the product to be welded. The tip heats the plastic surface as well as the rod. As the materials melt, move the tip along the repair area while pushing the rod into the tip to fill the repair area with new plastic material.
